DART

Identity
Print

Careful consideration and close attention to the existing brand assets led to refreshing the visual identity of DART, a specialist land-based training provider. The logomark was redrawn and used with a new typeface, revised supporting colours and engaging photography, which was the driver for the consequent visual assets. Consistency led to clarity and a much improved professional presence in their education sector.

Packaging

Farm to Fork is an incentive program that produces locally sourced and organically grown food — often by hand. Therefore, it was only natural to produce product packs using organic materials and to illustrate them by hand.

This is the practice of multi-disciplinary graphic designer and illustrator Johnathan Scane.

He creates purposeful visual communication work using insight and analysis to generate compelling ideas with a strategic focus.

Johnathan studied at the Royal Drawing School, holds a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Hons) in Graphic Design, and has been awarded a Master of Arts (Distinction) in Illustration. He has periodically produced award winning work and is a member of The Typographic Circle and the Association of Illustrators.

This design solution exploits the coincidental by using the photographer’s initials to illustrate their tool of the trade. As a bonus, they primarily shot images in black and white.

Ceramic Development

The movement and shape of a ceramicist's wheel inspired Ceramic Development's visual identity, while warm, earthy tones derived from fire and clay colour rendered the communication touchpoints throughout.

O F Bell

The components of O F Bell's visual identity reflect its attention to detail and precise moulding capabilities. Engineering specification sheets inspire the hierarchy of brand elements derived from the graphic shapes created by the logomark letterforms.

Working in harmony, classic typography and classically styled illustrations capture the energy and finesse of classical music performed by the British Police Symphony Orchestra.

DDK

Metaphorically, three business partners working together in the aerospace industry are shown as three triangles moving forward as one.

A single-colour application and strict typography with angular accents that echo the logomark give DDK a professional, forward-thinking visual tone.

DivideBuy

Identity

Following a brand refresh for DivideBuy, its financial services required a more functional display of information to benefit its customers. Subtle use of the newly established suite of brand colours within significant areas of clear space, coupled with a harder-working typographic grid system and supporting graphic elements, allows for greater clarity.
